MM Facilitations and Consulting offers a variety of facilitation and consulting services. With 31 years of educational experience, Michaelene Morrison, owner, has a wealth of knowledge to provide your district or charter with special education solutions. First a classroom teacher, she then served in the positions of Inclusion Specialist, Facilitator, Instructional Specialist, Special Education Coordinator and lastly, as the Director of Special Education. Her experience is in both small and large school districts. In addition, she was an Education Specialist at Region 4 Education Service Center.
Michaelene has seen first hand that the best outcomes for students happen when parents and schools work together. This starts with a team approach at the ARD/IEP meeting, with all members being active, collaborative participants. The best IEPs start with a good meeting, which is why she put much effort into ensuring well run meetings during her years as a director. We do great things for kids when we all come together.
As a previous Director of Special Education, she also understands how difficult it is to get to everything done. There are too many tasks and too little time.
